I bought 2 3d Blu Rays (got in offer). But still waiting for the Pana BDT-220 player. So not able to play the 3d movies. But my tv can play 3d movies using USB port. So I thought if it is possible to "copy" the 3d movies into the pen drive till I get the 3d player. But my Dell XPS laptop is rejecting the blu ray whenever I'm clicking the option . I don't have 3d option in my laptop. But is there any way to copy the 3d blu rays into the zip drive?
Pl suggest.

First, you need a PC that has BD-drive and capable of 3D as well. Secondly, original 3D BDs are copy pretected and cannot be copied just like that, even if you had a PC with 3D capable BD-drive.

Once you have a BD-drive on the PC, you can buy software such as AnyDVD-HD for playback, ripping and backup of a movie on BD. Afterwards you can either play it directly from the laptop or convert it to mkv and copy it to your pen drive.

If you do not have a BD-drive or the software, I will advise you to wait till you have the BDT220. Otherwise, it will be a case of ??? ??? ?? ?????? ?? ?? ????? ?? ?????.

 That's true. Don't know what is the problem with panasonic. When market demand is so high for BDT-220.

Actually, there is no demand for BDPs as such. It is only a few FMs that look out for BDPs. Most people are in the "download" business and that requires no BDP.

Yes. People download BD rips, mkv's from torrents and use a media player or just plug the HDD to TV.

The scene in India is, perhaps 1 person out 25 TV purchasers buys a BDP. Out of 10 BDP purchasers, at least 6 don't really buy it - they get it free with the TV as a deal. Come to think of it, people hardly purchase DVDPs either.

It may be ok by seeing the BD price. Don't know why majority of equipments viz: AVR, BDP, BD etc are so costly here in India:sad:. On top of that you'll not get the latest models in the market (legally). And it is also not true that Indian people can't buy or demand is not there. Even if you compare the internet speed here is much lesser that other western countries and charge is also high. Don't know when the situation will change.

I do not agree whole heartedly. I have been importing for over 18 months now and the average price per BD works out to Rs. 700. At the price, we get pure 1080p PQ, pure uncompressed/master audio, extra features, interviews, galleries, director's/actors' commentaries, digital/UV copy (if someone is interested), etc.

Were you able to redeem the digital/UV copy from a UK BD purchase? I tried to redeem a UV copy and got a "not allowed to redeem outside the UK message".
