3D Movie Using Laptop+AVR+3DTV

Hi All,

I am going to do this excersize first time so not sure about anything hence need guidance....

I have downloaded one *.mkv RIP of a 3D movie.
Now I wish to play this using my Laptop+AVR+3DTV (I do not have all of them yet but soon will be having it, finalised AVR+TV deal).

If I run the mkv file on Laptop and connect the Laptop to AVR and TV using the HDMI port, will I be able to play the 3D movie. What all things I should ensure to do this experiment, could you please guide me....?

Connect through hdmi, play the movie. Then go to the tv and enable 3d manually as side-by-side or top-bottom depending on the movie.
