what about warranty? If it arrives defective? I hardly think it is practicable to send it all the way back to the US of A, even if the seller is ready to offer replacement. Just buy from hamara desh, if you want a good deal then go for those Sony TVs that are directly imported from Thailand/Singapore.

i have gray market guy in hand, dont even think of getting the model even in 70k..
analyze these
1.the fact is gray mrkt guys sell in 10% -20% less than the market price here .
2.i visited thailand 32" series 4 samsung LCD was 18K INR

Now , if model is LED +10K , if ultra thin +10k,if wifi etc and s ,x-vga and size 40" +5k comes abt 35k(probable thailand price)

3. banglore prices at croma mall
basic 40" LED , 4" thick --->70k range
basic 40" LED , 4" thick,100Hz->76k
basic 40" LED , ultra thin,100hz ---> 88k
basic 40" LED , ultrathin,wifi etc(no Xvga,digital tuner,5 in 5 etc ) ->90k+
finally if all features ....1L+

Rough estimates .
4. in same weight i can add 1 WDTV sweet price of 3k INR or auratek ebook reader 3.5K INR or lenovo HTPC remote 1K....

Use shopyourworld site ...with all tax n customs fees come 45k.
Best part is this site takes indian payments ,i think they have office in mumbai.


This is even thinner 1.2inch ...may be better too.
