50+ inch TV for Charitable Institution

One of my friends is working with an institution for a social program - they have suggested that they are looking for a large (50+inch) TV for their inmates to view TV. They had said specifically they need a 50+ inch TV - which is a strange demand for a charity.
Regardless, this is going to be bought out of donations collected - so we are looking for something cheap, but at the same time usable.

I was thinking of suggesting the micromax 50inch that everyone has been buying, but have second thoughts about the extended warranty etc.
Is there anything else I should consider?

VU 50k160, Videocon ,Panasonic 50 incher is cheap too

Every TV is usable. I would only consider 3 things - price, length of warranty and speed of response to a complaint.

when i meant usable - i should have meant decent usable life - either something that has a decent warranty with service to back it up, or something with rock solid reliability

Panasonic and VU give 3 yrs . VU's is an extended warranty though.
