at 1.4 lakh budget you must get a projector.....it will blow you away.
at 120 inch its a clear winner than a 50 incher.
if want a reguler tv watch device get a 32 inch semi hd lcd for 25k......and allocate the rest of the budget for a projector for ocasional movie...no tv can match that experience..
infocus in 82 or similar priced models are at or below the price range you must take a demo.

if not intersted for projector get a 50 inch plasma at around 75k....dont strech the budget.and
led or plasma thats completly upon ur liking.what looks good to your eyes.
for movie purpose my personal preference is a plasma.....for discovery channel led...

side by side comaprison shd be done with very high quality files/original br disks/star moveis hd/moveis now hd
now demo and decide...happy hunt.

In 1.4L there are no Full HD projectors all are XGA projectors so PQ wont be as great as Full HD . Also dont have a flat surface of more than 75-80 inch diagonally in my home so 120 inch doesnt makes a sense for me..

please search a little and google more.....1080p branded projectors are even avilable in 40k indian rupees also........
try amazon us.amazon uk...ebay india.........e bay com
first start with infocus in 82......it has tremendous picture...try anibaps thread in blu ray.com......he is one of the owner of this particluer model
yah at 80 inch you can project for 70 inch....then in fact you will get projectors more cheaper as size matters for price for a good picture
and in mumbai you have a chance for so much demo ,...try it even if you dont buy........you are lucky to be in mumbai..hehe

GT50 no doubt is the best of the bunch among the TVs you listed, don't even bother with the Samsung and LG models. HX750 is slightly better than them but nowhere near GT50.

Anil,

I think even 75/80 inches is a very good image area, can the flat surface not be increased by making some adjustment etc?

Is there a possibility to have the projector in some other room where you can use a bigger image?

I will sell you my slightly used Panasonic PT-AE4000 FULL HD (1080p) projector for 1 lakh. It is as good as new, other than a few hr hrs of usage. It is also calibrated for optimum performance for conditions with controlled ambient lighting.

Anil,

Soon you may find out that 51 inches or 60 inches is too small- why not something bigger. It happened to most of us who graduated from 29 inch Crts to 32 inch lcds only to find that even 42 inches are not enough!

Suggest you look at Pjs you can get full hd with 3d brnd new under 1 lakh.
