need to buy a 60'' plasma tv for showcasing the worldcup matches at my workplace so need help for that.
requirements
1) cheap (bosses arent big on spending)

LG 60PK550 is the best VFM plasma - it can be bought for Rs 1,20,000.
It is quite freely available in the market. HTH.

How About Projector - Screen

Well it may be much better to buy a basic projector and screen to get image right up to 150 inches or even more while there will be a good cost advantage and storage factor, plus it will be classy.

About your bosses not being big on spending, i think you need to control your greed, how many of them will even consider such a spend that too work hours being suffered and how about the staff pooling in some money, maybe they are big on spending.

One of the forum member is also buying the projector and screen mainly for the world cup, and i am sure many others have got into this type of a better viewing.

Is it wise to buy 60PK550 now considering the fact that this 2010 model will be replaced by new models shortly. I initially wanted to pick Panasonic V20...but it looked too small for my living room. I would apprecite if you could assist me freezing on a huge display panel.
