A dvd player for Yamaha NS-P40

I need a good dvd player capable of supporting the NS-P40 and within a cost of 6k. Can you guys suggest something . And if you happen to know about the NS-P40 ,please share.

Yamaha NS P40 is a 5.1 speaker package. You will need an AVR as well.It costs around 17000Rs and has received some decent reviews. It seems to be good VFM and works well in small rooms. Do you already have an AVR or you still have to get one? If you want a cheap DVD you can try some of the models by Philips for around Rs 2500. However you can now get a good Blu ray player for 9000-10000, so why not go for that.

Better get a Bluray, as thats the future's technology.Also Movie at Blu ray disk are amazing quality where you can play all the DVD,and CD.
Check if its USB compatible so that you can extent the source of playing files.
