I have a spool tape (early 1970s, Jap make) lying around at home somewhere ... have to search for it, maybe it would also need a service too. Something tells me that it would still be in a running condition, just as my 1962 TT.

Have'nt heard my Dad's voice since the last 14 years .......

This takes me back to the days when I dreamt of these objects...but I had no means to acquire them....and now when it is possible, all we get is some digital stuf...!

I have a Philips 765 CD recorder too, lying packed in its box and unused for the past many years. Had bought it in 1999 when I was in London on a scholarship. Terrific recording quality though it was a pain in the backside buying the special CD-R Audio discs which used to cost abt Rs 200 each.
