Hey everybody,
I need a bit of help. I apologize in advance if this is in the wrong forum.
Anyway, I started out with an ADCOM GFA-555 series II amp and GTP-400 preamp powering a pair of Cerwin-Vega VS-150's. This setup alone sounded magnificent with crystal clear sound up to half way (it gets ridiculously loud past half way). I recently acquired an AudioSource EQ-8 to tone down some of the overpowering bass Cerwin-Vega's have and bring out more of the mid range. My problem is that the EQ produces a pretty heavy amount of interference hissing. Is there some sort of noise filter I can use to get rid of it? I have narrowed it down to specifically the EQ by process of elimination of my cables and such.
