Advice needed for 32"+ HDTV

Hi Everyone,
My first post out here, though I have been roaming around in the sneak mode for ages now

Need advice on making this decision for a new Display for my PS3.
Usage intended: 1. Gaming (Top priority)
2. Normal TV feed especially Sports (planning to upgrade to HD DTH in the coming months, provided more channels are available)
3. BluRay/DVD/HD Camcorder input.

Budget: Not willing to break the bank,so around 30K- 45K if the investment is worth the experience, as the 3DTvs are likely to lure me in a couple of years, if ample 3D content is available by then.

Screen Size: 32" and up.

I think you can go for a PLasma 42 incher in the same budget. And it fits your usage ideas.

You can upgrade to 3d tv after 3 years when the content is more and cheaper..

Since gaming is top priority and you are going to watch cable/DTH with lots of stationary channel logos then you might want to go for LCD. Plasma is very good but the image retention issue might make you hesitate about playing too much games on it.
Don't get me wrong. In my experience, any image retention I get as a result of gaming, goes away after about 5 minutes of running slides. But then I am well past the 250 hours mark of very careful and meticulous break-in. In any case you might want to abstain from gaming during the first 100 hours at least.
Some members had reported that there is a Samsung 37" C550 available for 39k. See if that offer is available in your area.
