Airplay for Denon AVR

Trying to connect iPhone 6s with Denon X2000 with Airplay, but don't know what's wrong.

All the devices are connected via network properly as I can see the AVR name in my iPhone. But when i select that option it's automatically deselected.

The AVR is connected by wire and iPhone by wifi through D-Link router.

iPhone and AVR software is up to date. Can someone help me.

my 2 cents:
1. can you do airplay (or equivalent trx) from your laptop media players? (windows media player has that option)
2. on my denon x3000, i sometimes face airplay issues when my avr is previously in cable mode. so i take it to standby and the airplay works fine.

Honest opinion and views of many users across the globe.....AirPlay does not work successfully everytime...so does the Wireless streaming ....these are just add ons to AVRs for competitive marketing and sales....

As long as the AVR can deliver a better performance than any Cinema Hall for movies and spellbound music experience, then that should suffice...ofcourse this is my view and others will have a different take on matters.....

Airplay works successfully every time, its not the protocol, but the device that has it implemented, denon AVR in this case. Its a hit n miss as far as I know. (I also have denon x1000). i don't use it anymore for Airplay/UPnP. I use Rasp Pi for the same and it works flawlessly both Airplay and UPnP
