Akai 1710 Reel to Reel - Speed issue

I have replaced the belt for Akai 1710 and post that the speed is bit slow? any idea what could have went wrong while changing the belt?

Maybe belt is not of right size.

Also hope you have put the pin (capstan) for speed (international speed setting)

I think I have not put the belt properly, its very hard seems to be on right side its bit complicated, trying to understand.

Can anyone guide me on it?

Never mind, I have figured it out how to replace the belt.

No experience with reel to reel tapes but from cassette tapes I can say some times take up and supply rubber wheel/s being old can not rotate the spools with good torque. Clean all rubber wheels carefully with flint paper and IPA. Some of you may have experienced this with 120 min. cassette tapes. Also a very tight belt would result in slower speed.
