Amazon.in cheated me (real experience)

Hi all forum members
Recently i had purchased 30 international albums from amazon india. Items were immediately shipped through blue dart. I got 65% total discount. Next day received 4 mails, shows that your items undeliverable.
I can't understand whats the reason.
Within 6-8 hours seller returned all the items from blue dart. I have evidence. (Blue dart tracking numbers showing my opinion 59218358743, 59218358452, 59218371052, 59218371251)
Amazon customer care members says that they never resend the item. They advised me re order same items. Only problem is that new 30 titles price more than 12k.
I really regret about this transation. Anyone faced similar type of experience?

It appears that this may have been some spurious seller who resorted to these tricks. Why don't you complain to Amazon so that they can flag off the seller. Also add your comments and rating for that particular seller on the site. I ordered a few albums and discs during the promotions (although a much lesser amount) and I received all my discs
 
I am almost in a similar boat by today evening will know for sure.

I had ordered around 21 movies and did it in 4 orders, 2 were to my home address to 2 to my office address. I had my home orders delivered without any issues yesterday and this was actually far and a remote location. But the one's to my office address from Fedex have got rescheduled yesterday for no reason. No one had contacted me yesterday for this rescheduling so bit worried. I have spoken to fedex and was assured a delivery by 3pm today but still have not received it :sad:. This order contains a major chunk of the movies. So keeping the fingers crossed.

Even in the orders delivered yesterday had an issue with one of the title Schindler's list as the below link states the format as Blu Ray and also I had applied a filter for Blu Ray discs while ordering. But the closer look at the image says DVD, did not bother to look into those details at that time of ordering.

When I had a chat with Amazon the following was the response:

I've checked your order and see it was placed with Pritam Music Pvt. Ltd., a seller on our website. Because Pritam Music Pvt. Ltd.'s inventory is constantly changing, we can't replace items sold by them that are Fulfilled by Amazon.

Seriously Amazon India standards are slowly deteriorating:sad:
 
I have received all items without any issue so far. Ordered Gravity 3D during the promo and Got it today in 48 hrs. Sad that they are not upto the mark they are internationally known for. Hope they will raise their standard here as well.
 
My 2nd order I literally had to grab it from the courier person .

He somehow managed to enter DLF premises without any Id but was not able to enter my office reception so could not deliver it. He just gave a missed call with a single ring and luckily for me I saw it and was able to call him back and then had to go outside and collected my orders.

It seems he came in on Thursday without the ID and was not allowed inside DLF and Friday he somehow manged to come inside and even if I had delayed by 5 mins he would have gone back and mine would have been sent back to Pritam music. He was having 4 or 5 more parcels and said those persons did not him call back immediately so he will take it back to office.
 
I have purchased 7 BR discs during their promo and all have been delivered within 48 hours.The effective landed prices are approx. 50% of the printed prices. Good deal.

I was described about registered amazon seller's fraud activities. But you're praised their service. What nonsence? If you faced any frustration during the purchase, you can register here that matters. Otherwise please don't post this type of reply.
I can prove, the seller act as a fraud. Bcoz i ordered 30 cds. Within 5-8 hours i received more than 4 mails and mentioned about 'your ordered items dispached , and blue dart tracking numbers are 59218358743, 59218358452, 59218371052, 59218371251'
Next 6-8 hours i've receved another 4 mails that shows your items undeliverable. We can understand one thing "seller gave all the items for shipping at blue dart courier office then informed amazon that all the items dispatched with tracking numbers. After 6-8 hours seller collect all the items from courier office then informed amazon (next day) all the products returned to shippers address hence item is undeliverable. (What about seller's idea?) I can understood one thing next day cd's price almost double.

I had posted in the other thread about the Amazon's offer but I feel that I should post one of my experiences here.

I got a VCD instead of a BluRay recently from one their dealers. I contacted their customer service and was assured that they will get it picked up and the amount refunded. Nothing has happened till now.
 
My experience during this promo.

I have received all my discs but by mistake I had ordered a bluray instead of an audio CD (I thought it was an audio CD whereas in product description it was clearly mentioned it to be a BR disc). I returned the same and another audio disc which I did not want (just changed my mind). The return was initialized on Saturday via their website and the person collected the same on Sunday. On Monday morning I had the money refunded in my account.

Now the not-so-good part. Apparently their site seemed to be calculating the promo incorrectly. I noticed it for a few CDs. When I pointed out the same after placing the order, they promptly recorrected and refunded the amount back. Their promptness was evident, but the fact that I had to manually calculate and point out the same was something not expected. It took me 45 mins to sort this out, time which I could have used elsewhere.
 
Sadly, it would seem Amazon.in "sellers" are not different from our other Desi dealers. Even sadder is that the Amazon.in response is definately a step below their international counterparts.
I was charged RS 60/- extra as "shipping" which did not appear while ordering -and despite a request for a cancellation- the seller "Krishna Sales" after about 24hrs in the first mail claimed that charge was "in the box" next to the item and then ( Sunday came in between) claimed it was already despatched, it is not worth my time to follow up and return the item. NO response from Amazon and NO request for feedback so far!

Perhaps we should mail Jeff.
 
Currently to experience Amazon's service, avoid buying products from non-Amazon Fulfilled sellers. Amazon takes full responsibility for all products which are 'Amazon Fulfilled' and tend to go out of the way for customer satisfaction on those products.

That's the best advice which I would also give. Go for only the Amazon Fulfilled ones if you want no problems.
 
I bought CDS from an 'AMAZON FULFILLED' seller and they came scratched and unplayable. Contacted Amazon 3 times after that and no reply. My friend has same experience with some dvds. Worst customer service I have experienced till date.
 
Amazon fulfilled does not guarantee anything in my opinion. Like I had said earlier, I got a VCD delivered instead of BluRay. Some of the stores did not give the offer which according to Amazon, they should have been giving which I realized after placing the order. This was sheer misguidance and cheating on Amazon's part.
 
In my view point flipkart's sales and customer service is better than other online indian sites. Lot of items purchased from flipkart, if one item is damaged due to transit, immediately they were replace the product.
