Amp for Kef q100

Hi,
ive got the kef q100 speakers paired with the denon 1612 amp. Am I getting the most of these speakers ? I listen to a lot of music with direct mode on. I looking to upgrade to the denon x2400. Will I hear a difference ? Any other budget stereo amp with more bass ?

Why are you looking for av receiver instead of stereo only amplifier? Stereo amplifiers give much better performance than AVR's. And if you are just missing bass, you can divert the funds to getting a good subwoofer.

ive got surround + center speakers also hooked up. I listen to 5.1 content sometimes but netflix and amazon's DD+ is really wonky with my reciever. Ive got a enegry take classic sub, but if i can get more bass of the kefs i dont want to use the sub. Any budget stereo amps you recommend ?
