This is with regards to the HTS-3400 receiver that I had purchased quite a while back. I have this hooked up to the Seagate Freeagent Theatre+ media player. Things are working fine and the sound quality is nothing less than what was expected from Onkyo
However, recently I have noticed that when i play video files that are BRRips and have DTS tracks in them, my receiver shows input as PCM 2.0 channel and output as Neo6. Certain files however show input and output as Multichannel 5.1. Has this something to do with the DTS2.0 output that my media player has? Or am i missing something here
It sure is a shame if i cannot watch my videos in this amazing HTIB without being engulfed by sound in all its glory
