Android TV box Vs Bluray player

I have a Bluray player and an Android TV box ..
I was using Kodi in TV box to play downloaded files until now . Now I think my Philips Blu ray player USB input provides me better sound quality .. What do you guys think .??? Noticed any difference in sound quality or video quality??? Which one is better you think ??

If both are set to bitstream, then they are ideally doing the same thing.. So there shouldn't be a difference in sound quality..

But, if you are using Analogue out, then there could be difference.. How have you connected both to AVR?..

not via analogue both through HDMI only

Ok.. Hope the audio settings in both the players are set to bit-stream..
