Another "Help me choose" thread....

Hello everyone,

Trying to decide on the various components for a HTS,

After a lot of research and factoring in my budget constraints I have decided the following,

Projector : Panasonic PT-AR100

A/V Receiver : Denon 1713 OR Yamaha RX-V473

Speakers : Wharfedale DX-1HCP OR Boston Acoustics Soundware XS OR Tannoy HTS101

I had also considered BA's A2310HTS, but I was told that this model has been discontinued.

Ok, I am going to use this setup for 80% watching movies and 20% PS3; considering my usage, could I get some help in choosing the A/V receiver and speakers????

Note : The room is shaped in a weird manner, it is almost L in shape.

ANY help will be appreciated, thanks in advance!

Suggest that you move the AVR to Denon 1913 or equivalent.

1913?? Could you elaborate? I thought the 1713 and the dx-1hcp is a good combo.

Compare the specs of 1713 vs. 1913. 1913 is better in my opinion.
