Any android app which can be used as remote to operate Smart TV

I have Samsung D6000 LED TV and find it tough to search for videos in You Tube is there any app available with android by using which I can type in faster whenever I do a search.

Not sure about the Samsung model but I recently brought an LG LM6690 TV which has the capability to use over the Andriod/Iphone based mobile phones. I saw the details listed in the LG site as well as the settings in the manual which came up. My TV has inbuilt Wifi so no issues with the network. But I have not tried this option to browse as I have a HTPC for watching YouTube videos which the TV cannot get any closer.

I have been using Smart TV Remote Tab app to control my Samsung PDP 51E550 from my Nexus 7. It works very well. If you want to control using phone, try Smart TV Remote app.
