Hi,

I have two bookshelf speakers and I am looking for Integrated amplifer with network streaming (DLNA) , bluetooth , USB playback, internet radio etc.

Amplifier power of 40W to 80W will do.

I found Marantz M-CR511 Melody Stream is suitable one, but it costs around 45k.

Is there any cheaper alternative available in India, which costs less?

Regards,

You can buy an amplifier with your given budget and rig up an old PC or laptop as a media server/streamer. Lots of freeware software that will convert any old PC into a network streaming capable device.

You can also consider many of the available mini PC options like WDTV, Android TV box, or even the budget friendly Raspberry Pi.

If you have the budget for it, then set up a home NAS, nothing else will offer the power and flexibility. An A/V receiver with Wi-Fi and streaming capabilities just doesn't compare, most of them don't even play all formats. I'm yet to find devices that are able to play HEVC content. Not a problem for the PC though.

Thanks for the suggestion.

I already have a NAS with DLNA capability, also got 2 speakers as mentioned earlier. Don't have old PC and old Amplifier.

So at present, amplifier with streaming capability looks to be better than buying separate items. The use is only for music, hence video capable players are not required.
