Any deals on 46+" TVs in Hyd?

Hi,

I'm looking for a TV in Hyd for a friend. His budget is around 60k and we want a 46" or larger Full HD TV. He's not interested in 3D or Smart TV functions. The only feasible options right now that I can think of are
- Samsung 51" D550 Plasma: around 62k with prankey's group-buy
- Samsung 46" D550 LCD: 60.5k at Flipkart
- Samsung 46" C550 LCD: 56k at Samsung Showroom, might be able to bring it down by 1-2k (display piece)

Any ideas or inputs on deals for last years models or special offers? LCD/LED/Plasma are all fine. I'm not considering the U30 Panasonic Plasma as I don't think it's particularly good picture quality wise.

I bought recently samsung D5500, 46" for 75K from Bajaj Electronics, LB Nagar.
I wasn't interested in 3D and felt this is the best VFM.

Thanks, Niv. I'll check with my friend on this but i think 65k is probably the most he'll be willing to stretch to, 60k being what he'll feel most comfortable with.

46c550 is a 2010 model !! does not make sense now and if you wanna buy it dont pay more than 30-35k for a display piece because 1.5 years in display is more like second hand.

best vfm in this budget is 51d550 plasma as always

51D550 should be available for display at Samsung plaza, Hitec city by today.
He told that the stocks will be in today. The price quoted was 64K....If you are interested in the deal, we both can negotiate further.....as this is a brand store.

The 63.5k quote was from Khater Electronics, Secunderabad. But they will not have models on display as it is very small shop.

If you want to have a demo then Bajaj Electronics, Panjagutta has the display.

Yeah..it was released in this week so very new to stores....For a demo in HYD we can visit BAJAJ Elec.

slightly off topic. i bought a 46'' LED TV from Philips (PFL5755) in September from home town b'lore for 65K. if you have home town in hyd, you may check for offers.

pretty happy with the performance and it plays the popular file formats for videos, ,mkv, h.264 etc.

Did he see your TV?
Hyprecity has the last VT20 for 70k.
They are displaying rubbish videos so no one will buy.
Ask for 65k.

Blasto, he did see a demo of my TV and was impressed. Will ask him to check Hypercity. Are they offering any free glasses? Is it a display model?
