Any Idea when the Panasonic VT50 / ST50 Models will be Released in India

I am interested in purchasing a large plasma however none of the dealers in Chandigarh have the 2012 models. The only model available that I liked was the 64 inch Panasonic VT30 which was available for 3.2 lacs.

Unfortunately my two year old 46 inch samsung LED backlit has developed faint parallel black lines more prominent on the right side and I believe it is a panel problem. Although the picture is still watchable but I want to shift that to a different room.

If you have the budget wait for VT50.........it is one of the best if not the BEST tv right now. From what I understand it should be launched in a month in India. There is not much difference between GT50 and VT50..........so whatever is available. Nevertheless EXCELLENT choice!!!

Its being quoted around 1.05-1.15L i think - how do you expect it to be 85k???

You are correct the 50ST50 is upto 115000 while the 50GT50 is for 128000 in panasonic showrooms however the 50GT50 was available for 121000 on ebay.in when I checked a few days back. The 65 inchers will come in August (end). Unfortunately no 55 or 60 inchers for India.

Going by past trends, it should hit 85K by Diwali. Was just testing my luck..if not ST50, I dont mind ST30 as I am TV less since a week when my Sammy 46inch crashed.

Arun. A guy on another forum has purchased a 50GT50 for 115000 with 3 3D glasses which is a great deal. Will hold my horses till Diwali for more deals to pour in. Right now I am getting the same TV in 128000.

I got quotes of 100k for 50ST50 from 2 dealers this weekend... MRP is 115k i think. 50UT50 (lower model) is for 87k.

P50UT50D: 100,000 (not committed but thereabout)
P50ST50D: 115,000
P50GT50D: 128,000

The biggies 65VT50 and 65ST50 will be coming to India by August end.

The 50VT50 will be around 145000-150000. I wish the 65ST50 were 175000 it would look gorgeous.
