Hi any of you out there who have paired the Eversolo DMP A8 with a power amp to drive Wharfdale Linton heritage speakers. If so please can you let me know what you use and what you may have checked out to arrive at that pairing in terms of other options.

I find that its not only the power rating and ability to drive the speakers that matter.
Incidentally my choice is for a warmer sounding amp. Detailed , transparent with good dynamics, separation and sound stage but not analytical sounding. Choice of music genre being Jazz, melody, slow rock, classical and occasional hard rock.

Thanks

Whats your budget ?

Is the Eversolo DMP A8 good as a Pre-Amplifier with a suitable Power Amplifier to drive Wharfedale Linton Heritage speakers ? If any one has experience with a suitable power amp, please suggest. Primary listening preference Jazz, Slow Rock, Vocals, Indian Melody and Classical. Prefer tight and controlled bass with depth not over powering.

You can check parasound and audiolab. There was a rotal amp in the classified, but it's sold out now. You check rotel too. I like the sound signature of rotals. Eversolo A8 can drive these amps without any preamp, i guess.

You can look at the parasound new classic series.

Have a look for any Rotel 800 or 900 series if available in your area. They will be second hand but should not be too expensive and are excellent.
