I have a 3rd gen Amazon echo device and all my devices ie. router, TV, Air Conditioner, etc. are in close proximity with each other. My experience of using/controlling these devices with Alexa voice commands has been poor. Even basics like turning on/off with voice do not work 9 out of 10 times. Alexa responds with "Your LGTV is not responding". My Air Conditioner is Panasonic and is Alexa certified and it works like 5/10times, better thanLG but same issue.

I use Samsung TV with Airtel STB. I use Alexa commands to select TV channels on Airtel. It works about 75% of the time. For English amed channels (like STart Sports", it generally works about 90%. For Tamil channels it is iffy

While reading tips and experiences on https://alexa-internet.pissedconsumer.com/customer-service.html, I learned some helpful guidance to improve connectivity. Your issues are likely due to network congestion, WiFi interference, or device setup rather than Alexa itself. Ensure all devices and your Echo are on a strong WiFi band, update firmware on your Echo, smart devices, and router, and try re-linking the devices in the Alexa app. Using simpler commands and avoiding similar device names can help. For devices like LG TVs, enabling the official skill and keeping firmware updated often improves responsiveness.
