Anyone that can help with Aadhaar Card ?

My wife and I had applied for the Adhhaar card in November 2011 , and am still to receive it. Some people who had applied along with us got their cards months back.

The official web site claims it was despatched around December 2012 and apparently reached my local Post Office. The trails goes cold thereafter - Post Office claims they have not received it, and I cannot get any response from the Aadhaar office, which I believe is in Bangalore.

I am not even able to trace my Card No : only the application & despatch details. As Pune dist is implementing the cooking Gas reimbursement scheme as a pilot project, I am being hounded for the card I cannot produce.

Would appreciate it greatly if someone can help me.

Thank you Amol - I do not know the details of the scheme only that my Gas distributor keeps hounding me almost every month.

The web page you have linked always gives me an error message -even when I tried just a few seconds ago: most frustrating.

Today I read the Montek Singh only mentioned at some meeting that he had lost his card and within an hour hey presto he gets a duplicate card
even without an application.

The perks of power......
