Audio Specs (Dolby Bitstream) for Sony BDP S1200

Dear experts,

Overall, I have zeroed in for BDP S1200 as it supports all possible video formats.

The audio specs for BDP S1200 says:

Dolby Digital bit-stream out : Yes
LPCM 2ch(-48kHz/-24bit(16bit for encrypted content)) Out : Yes
DTS bit-stream out : Yes

Audio Features HDMI

DTS HD Master Audio bit-stream out : Yes
DSD output : Yes
DSD to LPCM conversion out : Yes (176.4kHz/ 88.2kHz/ 44.1kHz)

Does this mean that the HDMI port will not bitstream Dolby Digital and DTS ??
Then how do I get 5.1 sound from Dolby Digital and DTS tracks if I am only using HDMI cable ?

Is Dolby Digital a subset of Dolby TrueHD ?
