hi greetings to all fellow audiophiles n enthusiasts,

to start with this is my 1st HT and have a budget of 6lakhs +/-1lakhs (and I know for this price I cud get medium class decent HT only) for a livingroom cum HT of size 15x19x10 and light can be controlled ,downside is flooring is marble I am looking for fixedscreen+3dhd projector+5.1 with towers(preferably 3way)+avr(with/without amp for towers) I have shortlisted some things I urge all audiophiles and enthusiasts to pour in their views and suggestions I wud be thankful .I have auditioned some speakers but in india we don't find variety under one roof so it is difficult to compare I wanted to decide on speakers first as system would be for music 60% and movies/TV 40%. I have following considerations

1)tower spk- a)cabasse alderny b)klipsch rf62 c)monitor audio rx6 d)b&w 683 e)psb image T6
I have heard cabasse java n liked it any one with ideas or owner of cabasse n how do you compare it to bnw/Maudio/klipsh and also if I can get focal series up to 1.7 lakhs or not , also I haven't heard cabasse on any other forums is it a gud brand(I mean at par with b&w/psb)
2)avr receiver-1)Marantz 7008 2)denon x4000 3)NAD 777
3)projector- Epson 8200/8100 2)Panasonic E8000 3)benq w7000
4)fixed screen (dalite/Grandview/viewmax material)
5)subwoofer(12" single)- velodyne or from respective series which I choose for tower
6) suggestions for change in flooring
please rate all options and new suggestions in preferential order so It will guide me to shortlist things

any help wud be of great value to me thanx in anticipation

6 lacks is a very good budget :)
Before the discussion starts can you also post your listening preferences. Is this an exclusive movie HT or a combination of music and movies? If music then genre - bass - warm , bright etc.

At a 6 lac budget the defects of the room also become important. You mentioned a living room cum HT room. Please post some photographs of the room.

If I had that kind of a budget, I would spend as under

Projector : 125k
Subwoofer: 100k
Speakers : 225k
Pre/ Power : 125k
Screen : 20k
Cables: 20k
Carpet: 10k

Also, I suggest you to go for components instead of an AVR.
And why don't you consider the MK S-150 speakers that is on sale (ranjeetrain)?
It will beat the crap out of all speakers you have mentioned here (IMO ofcourse).
I think he has a SVS PB13 ultra sub too.

+1 to this.
The M&K 150 is a revered speaker all over the world. If i were to do this, i'd probably get the M&K without second thoughts

I second the break-up.

Yes, it's true. I do have MK S-150 speakers, which have long been used by the Hollywood studios where movies mixes are made.

Again true, I do have the SVS subwoofer. Unfortunately, I had to move them to India due to uncertainty over availability of space and again, it's lying unused in India due to lack of space. They are even listed for sale in the "Sale by owner" section.

I would consider an amphion helium series setup
In the speaker dept if you can push the speaker budget a bit

Also a setup around the 716 focals would be good

Both the 716 focals and the amphion heliums are one my my favorite budget floors today for stereo

A marantz avr
Decently powered would do well here
