Dear friends,
I need a bell which can be programmed to ring a connected Electric gong bell to insatll in a Higher Secondary School.There are 10 periods, two short intervals, and a lunch breake.Timer with different mode of programming for Examination and special time table is desairable.Some adds are in net but not sure about its performanace and relaibility.Hope experts in this field shed some light into this..

this looks like a very appropriate project for a raspberry pi connected to a relay which drives the ringing bell...

A few months ago I worked on a similar raspberry project which played the Azaan MP3 (Muslim prayer call) at pre-determined times ( 5 times) each day.
