Greeting to All.
I am new to this forum. Currently Looking to Upgrade my HT setup.
My requirement would be 70% Movies(Files:MKVs System:HTPC Soundcard: Asus Xonar D2x) and 30% Gaming.(PS3 & Xbox 360)
Currently i own a Todoroki HT setup from pioneer which i purchased a few months back when i was a HT virgin
hyeah:.
It served me well till the time my taste grew more refined. I found the woofer to be really really boomy after a few days of listening and the center speaker was really bad for watching movies as it was not powerful enough and when i cranked up the volume the MDF hosusing of the speaker used to vibrate.
The Floor standers are decent along with the surrounds(eventually will get upgraded with RTI A7s from polk with matching surrounds.
So i went ahead and bought myself a Polk Audio Csi A4 speaker along with a DSW pro 660wi sub as the system lacked punch.
Now i feel the AVR is a bit underpowred to run the center speaker so i want to upgrade(upgrade fever) the amp.
Basically i have auditioned the Marantz amps and i like their tonality.(dont know how they will fare with the floor standers and surrounds).
Kindly also suggest some other amp if it suits me better.
Kindly suggest an amp which suits me the best ATM.
I live in Pune could you please also suggest a HT dealer along with some prices.
