Bangalore FM Radio Stations blackout after 12 AM?

Hi,

I rarely turn on my tuner at late nights. A day ago, noticed that the transmission stopped across all the stations right at 12 AM & no sign of it after. Same happened a week ago too. Thought it to be a case of maintenance. I didn't not find any related news when I googled, barring an article describing a similar situation way back in 2014.

Is anybody aware of/encountered this? A known thing or was I just unlucky?! I'm gonna check it tonight..

This is common, I'm not sure who takes the call on this, either Govt or Telco or someone else, but all FM channels used to black out after 00:00hrs, I usually return late from office. I will check it out today.

Well, awaited last night thinking that only during weekends the transmission is 24/7. But, was proved wrong!

Checked during the weekdays. All the stations were up. So, we were unlucky then to tune into when they were under temp outage/maintenance.
