I have connected my benq 1075 to apc 1100 ups. Few days back, when I switched on the ups, red light was blinking with beep sound in the ups. I felt something wrong and I immediately switched off the ups. After that the projector stopped functioning.. No light in the proj(not even the stand by light).. Through the technician, I came to know that the power supply board is gone and he is yet to give the estimate. Lamp usage is around 975 hrs only and the projector was working perfectly till this happened.
1) Why this suddenly happened as there is no power fluctuations in my area? How can this be avoided in future(any idea)?
2) Any good service centres in chennai for benq projectors(reasonable pricing)? What would be the price of power supply board?
