I want to purchase new av receiver but I am confused between yamaha pioneer and denon

You could add marantz also. Yamaha, denon or Marantz all are good. Depending on you budget and room size and features you need to decide. Best is to visit the showrooms and take demos to get a fair idea of avr, speakers etc

There various brands AVR available here in our country like Anthem,Arcam,Marantz,Denon,Yamaha,Onkyo,Pioneer etc.,
U may need to tell your tentative budget ,your room size and the speaker layout you are planing,so that FMs can suggest right options...

it's a big size room. you would need powerful AVR & speakers. you can consider Yamaha RXV685, Denon X2500H or pioneer VSX 934. I don't know much about Onkyo. You can hook it up with a pair of floorstanders and a centre channel speakers and can add sub & surrounds in future to build your system step by step as 1L will not be sufficient for a such a big room to have complete 7.2 ch system.

Get denon 2600 or 3500/3600. It's the best for movies also good for music. For speakers, you can go for pioneer Andrew Jones fs52 and center channel. Best speakers in that price range. You can check out the reviews of the same. Won't be disappointed.

There is no one "best" amp. What sounds best to you, listening to the music you like in your room is the best for you. Consider the models mentioned above as suggestions, but don't buy any of them without listening.
