Best AVR 7.1 under 50k

Hello all gurus....I am new to this world of HT. Before going through this forum my knowledge on HT was limited to HTIB like Sony, LG etc etc.
After going through all the discussion I am bit confused for AVR 7.1...and ready for budget of 50K...once I get the valluable comments then I can spend more 60K fot the speakers....but now I want to concentrate on best AVR....then latter search for best speakers. I Stay in Mumbai and have options to go to bandra outlets of MZ Audio and cinebells
pls help...

Glad you made good decision... You have a very good budget for AVR...

Onkyo/Yamaha/Denon/Pioneer/Maratnz/Harman Kardon are some of the top brands for AVR... Picj the ones that is clsoe your budget & offer the features that you are looking for.....

Thanks for your prompt reply...as per my online research I found following 7.1 avrs with allmost same price of 45k to 55 k...and features such as wifi...bluetooth.....4k.....all prox pls help to select one
1.Yamaha RX V 677 ..... 52k
2. Denon X 2000. ...... 49k
3. Denon X 2100. .......55k
4. Pioneer Vsx 1122k ......49 k
5. Marantz NR 1604. ......48k
6. ONKYO TX NR 626 .....50k

This is my first non htib....so requore assistance....

You won't go wrong with any of these models..... Of these i doubt the Marantz NR 1604 as it slim line AVR & might not have enough juice like other AVR's when you pair them up with towers later....

Onkyo 626 for 50K ? Are you sure.... Onkyo's are overpriced in India.... Pioneer is one brand which have modest pricing....

Try Marantz SR series of avrs. They onkyo looks very tempting. Great choice of avrs. You won't go wrong with any of these. Marantz have a correct balance between music and movies. Also it depens on your choice of speakers and movie:music ratio.
