Best Place for Buying LCD,LED Tv in Chennai

Friends I am new to this Forum and I need help in purchasing TV in Chennai,

Can anyone suggest me the best shop for purchasing LCD or LED TV in Chennai in terms of Price, Reliability and Genuinity.

Recently I Bought other Home Appliances from one of the famous Dealers in chennai and finally the experience was Bad as they are trying to Cheat and Sell other Accessories.

It would be usefull for other chennai members of this forum.So that we can also come to a good deal with the reliable retailer for our forum members.

Also as Hifi vision member i felt better when i was enquiring about the Onkyo HTS3300 from a coimbatore dealer (Audio Gallery).I called the executive of Audio Gallery and he said it will cost 25k.Then i said I am a member of HiFiVision and one of our members ManjukIyer Bought from ur store for 23k.Then he said I can do the same price for You also.This is an Example.

Stores which give a wide range of brands and sizes are the best to compare tv performance. In doing so, please take your own material (dvd or pen drive) and ask for it to be played on the models you want to evaluate. Usually most displays in the store are set at high levels of brightness or contrast to make them stand out in the stores bright lighting. Feel free to ask for the remote and play with the settings to guage the tvs performance.

In chennai, a wide range is on display at Croma, ezone and Viveks (mylapore) and vasanth (t nagar). In the durables industry, prices vary from shop to shop and you benefit by shopping around and comparing prices..the best rates are usually at TNagar or purasawalkam during the peak sale season like Diwali or New year. Please bargain hard on the rates and compare between shops before finalising. You should check with large dealers like Chellamani and Vasanth for the best operating price and see if your retailer can match the same. If not pick it from the store which gives u the best rate.

Honour of warranty and after sales service is the responsibility of hte manufacturer...the dealer has no role here...hence it doesnt matter whether u buy from a big retailer or small one, the manufacturer has to stand behind his product...

Jayam's in Anna Nagar is the cheapest. Shah's and
Sathya are next. Rest are more expensive. There is one more place in Velachery
which is supposed to be cheap but someone in the forum reported
them to be unreliable.

Start with Jayam's, pretend you know the industry and you like me can get
a 50V20 down to 103.5k (got it for a friend) !

Best for demo Croma (Anna nagar), Ezone in OMR and Shah's in Adayar.
Shah's is not a great setup but ask for Imran - pretty knowledgeable kid.

Also Jayam's has no windows in TV area so checking out Plasma is easy. By the same token Ezone in OMR is well light (huge glass walls not just windows) so best place to check for reflections ! They have demo rooms but all TVs there
are their house brand.
