best price for Samsung ps51d490 in Hyderabad?

Its been a long time since i last posted here, busy with exams and preparing to shift to a new place and all. My Dad is going to Hyderabad for two days. I wanted to know whats the latest price and offers, if any on the Samsung PS51d490. In Goa its at 62- 63k, which is what people in Bangalore get the 51d550 for!
I would appreciate if anyone could find out or knows the latest deals for this Tv. I have been pondering over which tv to get for the past three months so would really be grateful if anyone has some details.

If the deals are good then i would ship the Tv to Goa. I know the risk associated in shipping Tvs over long distances.

It was quoted around 55k....and I felt extra 7-8k is worth paying for PS51D550 and went ahead....as you get double the pixels!!!

Khather electronics in SP road.

These have best prices in hyd for samsung.

I agree to Blasto!! I've purchased quite a few products for friends and myself from Bajaj, Kukatpally Branch. The prices are petty good compared to few that I've checked. There is yet one more place where they say we get better deals. I forgot the name. I'll try to figure out the name.

guys an update on the price. my dad dint go to the bajaj electronics in kukatpalli but went to some places close to banjara hills and got the best price at 56k:sad:. they wouldn't come further citing rupee depreciation and higher cost of importing tv, which i guess may be true.So i have decided to scrap the plan and go for the 43d490 in my state. My budget was 50k max so 56k plus transport was pushing it!

What price were you expecting anyways? 56k is kinda ok.
Bajaj will give you probably for 55k with 0% interest loan thrown in. Thats about it.

BTW, What is the price you are getting for 43D490? It is 39999 in hyd Croma somedays back.

i am getting it for 44k after exchanging my old tv! here in goa. wont bee getting it from hyd! actual cost is 47k minus 3k for old 29 inch CRT.

If I were you, I would have donated the CRT to some not so well to do relatives than exchanging for 3k.

All my relatives have a HDTV! So no one to give it.My mom asked our maid if she wanted the tv for free. my maid replied sayin she already has a flat screen tv !!!!!

Mom and dad were not really interested in a tv, they hardly watch.But dad was suddenly converted when he saw a 3d clip in a store in Hyd!!, the goa ones never had 3d for customer display!! so now he wants a 50inch one! budget increased to 75-80k!!:yahoo: but will buy only after we shift to a new company house so thats going to be somewhere in June!!... so have to wait another 4 months!!!:sad:

So will wait for the new Panasonic or Samsung models which i hope will be launched by May -june.

Its been a roller-coaster ride but hopefully june is the last time i go to a shop to ask the price!!!

I was happy he was convinced finally!! he asked why spend 60 on a tv when i can get a nice 150cc bike for myself! i thought for a second but i dont like bikes, am quite happy with my car, for now.... and i know we will watch 3d once in a blue moon but incresing our budget from 50 to 75k i quite good! and hopefully there might be some nice deals for the old 2011 models?? all i have to do is wait now:sad:

Great to join in this forum its a basic instance were every one go in for a new purchase were we have a little confusion then and then , now a day lot of brands introduces new product with latest features , we need to categorize in three aspect
1. Quality ( Brand name,Higher Prize,service, Full featured, resale)
2. Durability(service, Full featured,feature resale)
3. Affordability( Less price,Normal service,common feature)
It does n mean all branded product have latest feature each and ever company have there own Research & development at each and every point new innovation is invented.

i have put my tv purchase on hold till june,when we finally shift to a new place!. so dont want to check anymore tvs now. but come June and i am going to drive the Goa dealers nuts!!hyeah:hyeah:
