I have a 3dtv, would like to opt for a blue ray player supporting 3d and external harddisk, price would be less than 15K indian money. Which one could i go on for ... Quick replies would be helpful for me to place order.

Is it playing multi region/zone discs ? how is the quality of the picture and audio ?

Go for 12 gb SONY ps3 ,it is best and can be used for gaming,you tube, streaming.DONT BUY ONLY BD PLAYER .PS3 IS BEST

It is region locked, cfw is not installed. picture and video quality are very good.
For audio we can only use it as transport (only digital out co axial).

I own a PS3, but dont want disturb it for playing movies also wanted to get the best quality while watching movies or listening to songs. Guess ps3 might not be the best option for the above.

By all means, get a good blu ray player. But please be advised that ps3 is a reference quality blu ray player and can easily beat most players hands down.

PS3 reference being BDP is ages back. It may have features but not the best BDP.
