Blue Ray player

Hello,

I am planning to buy a blue ray player soon.

As normal, I am considering Sony blue ray player.

Has any one used the Sony player? If so, kindly provide a brief review on the formats that it handles, and performance in general. I have a Bravio LED TV to go with it.

Moreover, does it play .wmv files, I have a collection of such DVDs, and want to by a player that can play these.

Review on any comparable player from other brands is also welcome as I am not aware of the factors that need to be looked in a Blue Ray player.
