Bluray UK Power supply

Guys might be a dumb question, I'm planning to get a panasonic blu ray player from UK as I wanted to have a region B player. The voltage rating for this player is

Power Supply:AC 220-240V, 50Hz

I am guessing I can directly use this with our Indian Power supply, am I correct?

UK and Indian power specs are identical. Anything bought in UK would work equally well in India too. Only the mains plugs are different (UK has rectangle shaped pins where as Indian are round).

Even I ordered for a panny 110 bdp from Uk and received it few days ago. The voltage is similar to indian spec, so you can use the player without any worries.
Which model player are you planning to purchase?
