Booked SONY KDL-46EX710 Today

So Guys, Here is my story while big screen hunt :lol:

Firstly, I went to LG Shoppe and luked plasmas there and looked at the LG 50PJ560 and booked and then I came to home, visit lg india site and saw that this is not even 720 Plasma TV so I went to shop again and cancel the order:lol:

Then I have given him the order of LG50PK550 on 1 Nov. 2010, he brings this television and he called me up and I went to the showroom and see that the screen was broken/damaged, then he said sir don't worry we will bring new piece for u and the new piece as taken nearly 2-3 weeks to come and then the LG shoppe said that the new piece has also broken during shipping, Then he sent us the LG50PJ560 to us coz LG company said to the LG shoppe to do so:clapping:. During this I have seen a lot of plasmas even Panasonic VIERA TH-P50V20D and I liked it too. Till 12:00PM today I was enjoying their LG 50PJ560 and then I think why not to go to Sony's shop to view some LED's, then I went there and saw Sony KDL-46EX710 and I was totally blown away with the picture quality and especially the deep black level and true colors WOW:yahoo: so then I have gone again with my DAD and DAD too liked the display, went to ATM and gave him Rs. 5,000 as down-payment and ordered this wonderful thing.

Will arrive here by thursday or max to max Fridayhyeah:

I am waiting desperately.

LG guys will come tomorrow and they will take back their rubbish plasma and will refund me

Actually, It's Sony's exclusive showroom and I am his 15 years old customer so he knows me very well. After he quoted me this LED-LCD TV for 90k, his father quarreled with him that how could u sold them this TV at this much cheap rate. Because his father doesn't know us but his son dohyeah:

Iam not sure you understood the specifications but i suggest you read the specs again but this time read the part which says screen resolution.

You saw the 50" V20 and you picked the Sony LCD cause it produced deep blacks? interesting!

I have seen Panasonic one for almost about an hour, It has too deep black levels and a very beautiful picture quality but what it lacks??
It lacks an advanced calibration Picture settings

but Sony has fully advanced calibration picture settings and without any calibration it's deep blacks are very prominent and after the calibration in it's advanced picture control, it's deep blacks will be excellent and also this LED-LCD sony has got an excellent reviews on lcdtvbuyingguide

I understood the specs very well but I was totally baffled at that time so that is why this happened.

Also this Sony TV has awesome features man just WOW, It has an presence sensor which sense ur movements now u think what kinda movement so here it goes:

The TV will switch off automatically after 30 minutes when no one in the room and will switch on automatically as soon as anyone enters the room

Hey there, I am also on the lookout to purchase the same model, just wanted to know from you first hand if you had compared it with LG 47LE5500 whjich is in the same range and is an edge lit LED with limuted local dimming and the SAMSUNG LED UA46C6200. I have checked out only the samesung which is more pricier but the picture was very nice.. although in shops they have the tendency to keep things as bright as possible.
