Sir, Please Specify What kind of music/movies you want to listen to on this Speaker System.
Also, Calling this system a "Home Theater" is somewhat only a marketing Gimmick by bose.
IMHO, and also somewhat the others will suggest is that Bose Makes Underpowered speakers for the price, i.e. The Speakers are truly not VFM, unless you want them for the Brand Name. Instead Go for Seperates at the same budget.

2. Sonodyne Sonus 1501 V3 Bookshelf Loudspeaker + Sonodyne Avant LCR 250 Loudspeaker + Sonodyne Sonus R-ears V3 Rear Surround Loudspeaker and add a sub later.
3. Wharfedale Moviestar 65+ Super 5.1 Speaker System
4. Wharfedale Moviestar MS-100 HCP Home Theatre Cinema Package
5. Wharfedale Moviestar 70+ Super 5.1 home theatre speaker system
A/V Receivers you can buy:
1. Denon 1513
2. Denon 1713
3. Denon 1613
3. Yamaha RX-V373
4. Onkyo HTR-390
Go for the package that suits your budget.

Though SQ preferences different for each person, still want to share my experience, I auditioned this one, Bose GS II and Harman Kardon SB 16, back to back and HK SB 16 will beat these two from Bose any day in any type of movie, also in price. After hearing the HK, bose's these particular speakers sounded pale and bass was just not adequate for the demo room itself. I auditioned all in Forum, Bangalore. Better audition some other combinations mentioned above post, unless you really want it from Bose and made up your mind.
