Bose wave radio cd system review vs other similar priced systems

Am not a Fan of Bose systems , but considering the wave radio for a compact bedroom system. How wud you rate this vs. other similar priced compact or mini hi if systems. are there any other options I can consider in 30-35k range.

Also does Bose offer any discounts?

I have listened to Bose Wave III and it sounded good for a big size bedroom.
Well mini hi fi system can't be compared with it as its purpose is different.

this is like a a boom box style player with good mid range (and also some bass effect) which is good for peaceful quality listening with added informative display and ipod dock style connectivity.
This is my opinion based on what I observed. Others may not agree.

I think bose sticks to the prices but sometimes comes with some combo offers.
