I searched the forum for a discussion on this topic. Couldn't find, and so is this thread.
I demo'd the Bose Wave SoundTouch 2 weeks ago. Impressed by the sound clarity, but not so much by the price. Suppose I have 30k budget, and wanted similar functionalities as in bose wave. What would be your recommendation?
Requirements:
What I listen to: Rahman, Ilayaraja, and a lot of western genres (like Disasterpeace, the doors, etc). So, 70% Indian cine music and the rest on the other genres
Medium: 50% CDs (no mp3) and 50% online streaming (SoundCloud, etc)
Constraints: SPACE! That's why the compactness of Bose appealed to me. Max I can accommodate is an amp+ bookshelf speakers.
Room size: 140 sq ft max (rectangular )
What I need: Your suggestions on how I can realize the above requirements in a 30k budget. I don't want big sound, but decent warm output with good bass and mids. I was actually considering NuForce Dia, but it crosses the 30k mark.
Thanks in advance!
