Hi Friends,

I'm planning to buy Denon 1910 from the US as I got better offer here than in INDIA.

Please advice if I use a Voltage converer it's fine to use.

Or do I have to get the transformer changed ?

Regards,
SALPAR

Hi Salpar

If I remember right, someone had posted on the forum that the Denon receivers are dual voltage and do not need a 220-110V step down transformer to be used in India. But please verify the same, as I remember reading this somewhere on this forum as someone else had asked a similar question earlier.

Most of the AVRs are far cheaper in the US. For the price of a 1610 here, you can buy a 1910 in the US. That is the kind of difference. If you look around harder, you can get a much better deal and even stretch and buy the next model, 2310. This is what one of my cousins did there.

Please also keep in mind that your Denon warranty would not be valid once the AVR is taken outside the USA.
