Buying Yamaha RX v671 from ebay

Hi

I am in search of Yamaha RX v671 and it seems none of the stores stock these any more in Bangalore. I found that ebay.in has a couple of pieces left
Has anyone in this forum brought receivers from ebay. Below is the link to the retailer. Is it safe to buy?

ask the seller about state sales tax form is rqd or not..
sometimes it is needed.and ask seller if its needed then will he repay the cost or not..around 10 percent of total price...
my onkyo came without any hassle..
but one friend bought a tv and he has to send the filled up form to the seller so thet the seller can attach the challan alongwith..anyway the seller repaid my friend the cost by a cheqe...so before order confirm......confirm these things...
these are the loopholes...the sellers are really really genuine bandas in e bay india

If you are not worried about warranty, check with avanue sound mumbai. You can get 673 within that budget along with converter

I am actually worried a bit about the warranty...
The price of 671 seems to be around ~39k where ever I have seen(older posts).
I also tried amazon.de the price comes to around 42k there too.. due to the euro -Rupee conversion though..

Is anyone aware of any dealer who still has the old X71 series ?

Hi when i last contacted HT Store, bangl they offered best price at 36000 but thats last piece he said. I believe avenue sound offers 1 year warranty. Also contact ebay seller directly as he is willingto deal with outside of ebay as well

spoke to the dealer, he is willing to give it for 39.5k including shipping. Is it a good deal that i can go for ? Would shipping take 2k from Delhi to blr ?
