Guys,

Are the current 3D models available in India active or passive. I want a 42 plus inches passive monitor. Can anybody suggest some brand. The company's websites are a waste of time and i don't want to even bother try the salesman.

Cheers
Sid.

Hey buddy,

Can u give me a link where i can find that LG is passive. Also I want a monitor with size 42 inches and more. All that i could see is the LG monitor with 23", not more.

Cheers
Sid.

There is toshiba and philips whch are also passive based,but you won't find there 3d tvs here in india.

Do a lot of research on the internet before buying a 3DTV as to what might suit your needs. LED/Plasma, Active/Passive and tv size all make a lot of difference to 3D. Also the source i.e are you willing to spend on 3D bluray player and buy the expensive 3D bluray movies or want to watch downloaded SBS bluray rips( every sbs rip is 6-20 gb depending on quality).

So buying a 3DTV and getting theater like 3D performance at home takes a lot of planning and choosing the right hardware and in some cases the right software if you use your pc as a source but it is indeed possible. But you have to be up for it !!

@siddh,
If you are specifically looking for a monitor (NOT TV) of 42 plus size, I fear none is available in India. LG passive 3D monitor is available in 23 inch size only. IMO this size is too small to experience 3D if you are interested in 3D.

Ideally a monitor is best suited for our purpose ( and our pockets too) as the tuner is no use as most of us are using HD DTH or other digital sources and separate audio systems for sound. But large size monitors are absent in the market. You have to buy a TV and use it as monitor.

Purchase the Audiolab 6000A Integrated Amplifier at a special offer price.
