Hi community, I am planning to get a new AV receiver (not too high end, eg: Denon is around 300$ during black friday here) for my parents. I am also going to carry my projector (approximately 600$) from here in my carry on luggage (it's just 5 pounds, so pretty lightweight). The AV receiver on the other hand easily weights around 15-20 pounds, so it's not as easy to carry (plus security checks might not be too happy). My wife and kiddo will be traveling with me to India.
Has anyone tried to get their AV receiver in the recent past (last 2-3 years)? How would you recommend going about this safely, and without having to pay customs?
