i just find a columbia old gramaphone in a old market ( Pic not original but same like this)

How much will be cost i can pay.

It depends on the conditions of the interior.. You've to inspect whether it is in good conditions or not. It's better to take somebody along with you who have good knowledge of vinyl players. In Calcutta, these models are sold at 1500-2000Rs in good working condition.

Welcome to the wonderful world of turntables...

Now to the question at hand...

I've some queries

1. Are you buying it to be a showpiece, if yes then as you have to take care of is, to ensure it's cosmetic condition.

2. If you are buying it for spinning your 78s (shellac records), then honestly it will not give you the depth which can be achieved by a electronic turntable that can play 78s.

I've two to these and have to tell you, they look and sound awesome.

Price varies from 1500 to 15000, totally related to cosmetic condition and it being in perfect running condition.

If its working, easily you can pick it up for 10K.. Worth it!!

I don't think they are available in 1.5k to 2k. Even replicas sell much higher.
