Hi all,
I am a TV enthusiast with 85" screen a 75" screen and a 65" OLED in my house in Chennai however two out of three are out of warranty now and can go kaput anytime. Having recently found an issue with one of those two TVs, which sometimes turns off automatically, a Sony technician said it will be better to replace the set itself as they dont do chip level servicing. Adding to my agony, i found that a good, reasonably pricing and sincere TV repair technician I used to have in my contact book has left the country and I was trying to network for one in my area. But instead of wanting one for myself, i thought if i open a thread that lists a TV repair technician in each city, it would help many such forumers here. I recently turned 46 and am jaded balancing business and spending time to set right personal entertainment and alas started realising I may not be able to afford TV replacements that easily with the cost of living increasing by each day. A few years ago I was lavishing money in these things as I was confident I can earn them back but realise now that repairing is the only solution. But these days people are unnecessarily soliciting use and throw choice which I dont agree as there are good technicians out there who can do a good job, just that I cannot find them. So is a problem for many - who knows.
Therefore I request you to share such contact numbers in each city for a quick reckoning so as to help each other. Mods - if you think this thread is against forum rules kindly delete it. TIA.
