As I understood headlines are supposed to indicate and represent content of articles.
They have a role as clickbait (making us want to know more on the topic/subject).
They are usually a single sentence, shorter the better. It’s an art and a science.

But these are confusing times.
I realised this when I came upon this:

 
What did you find confusing? The headline? I thought it was rather clever.

Will try to explain. It was a bit Too clever for me ! …. My brain was like:
So, A cleaner from a company that became famous for its vacuum cleaners that doesn’t suck (vacuum)?
Then it’s… wait, what? It’s a mop?
So it doesn’t suck, but it’s good at mopping
It doesn’t suck because it’s not a vacuum cleaner
The pun never ends!
It’s a lot of work!
I love it

This kind of headline should come with a statutory warning for those circling the drain like me😎
