Hi all,

Please let me first state that I am an absolute layman regarding home theater, hi-fi and anything related to any of that ;-)...
I want to connect headphones to my home-cinema set-up. My wife has old wireless headphones (Sennheiser TR120). I've tried to hook them up to my assembly, without success.
We're having a newborn baby boy at home and now the matter moved up the list of priorities, as you can imagine...

My set-up:
TV: Panasonic TC-P50S2
Amplifier: Onkyo TX-NR414
5.1 system: Bose Acoustimass 6

I have looked into this a few months back. What I believe to have figured out is that the only option to hook up the headphones to is the TV. Amplifier and 5.1 system do not have appropriate ports.
How can I change the settings of the TV such that sound is played through headphones only?

Thank you for your answer!
Michael

Hi,
'
You AVR should have a Headphones ( Phones) Input on the Front Panel
Buy a Headphone 3.5mm to 6.35mm Converter Adaptor available locally , and you would be able to enjoy your headphones on the Onkyo AVR .

Since your TV ( I guess ) would also have been connected Via the AVR , all the sound will now be thru Headphones .
