Hello all

there have been many instances where we have purchased/paid to use services of a company and have been disappointed and frustrated..

a repeated communication with the customer care turns out to be futile...

Here is a list of To do's from my side

1. In general - Keep all communications via email
2. Use the right language..
3. in case the customer care attempts to sort it out/settle via phone call ask them to commit to it via email immediately after the call
4. dont wait for them to commit..please obtain their name and number and write a mail to the respected customer care.. with the time of call,name and number and make a brief draft of the need for communication, what was spoken, what your question was, what the exec replied and was it productive and if not what was missing from the information you wanted. whether you had asked for the information and what the reply was..PLEASE DOCUMENT AS MUCH POSSIBLE!! this will help you in a later time..

5. Keep track of all phone calls and service numbers given (i know its difficult) but try as much..

6. Escalate the complaint to a higher official... keep mailing the progress to them also. Be very specific in your complaints rather than ranting out your irritation..

7.if u have decided to go against the company for ripping you off be prepared to go all the way..

8. Post a complaint in this forum Consumer Court

and while you do..please dont spam in the wrong areas... locate the correct forum/thread and post specific details. Most companies have their exec watching the forums they will usually reply asap. if you are not comfortable with revealing your email..please create a dummy email for such communication and forward those mails to your regular mail id.

9. Use social media - if you abuse the company they most probably will delete the post/comment
So use your language..and Sarcasm...if u are skilled...
Facebook and twitter are mostly monitored by the companies..they dont prefer a public uproar..so they will quietly contact you and settle if your query is genuine..

Visit the respective Company website and write and online complaint...

Visit the office in person if possible and raise a complaint in writing and take pics of the date and time..

11. Yes it is a time consuming and frustrating process..Challenge yourself to finish it..Keep yourself motivated.. For everyone else it is just a story...No one will move a muscle untill they are directly affected...so keep calm and work through it..

12. Lastly - Donot discourage someone attempting to take it up.
